My Inspiration

I'm so in love with
Pinterest.

It's my new favorite site
to mark pictures of things
you love {aka want & need}.

I find such inspiration in looking
at photographs...
            I feel like I can
better imagine {is that correct grammar?!}
my dreams, aspirations & future projects
                     in seconds.

I'm obsessed.

I came across this quote
on the wonderful Pinterest site
&& found SO much meaning in it.

This is how I live my life.
Every moment of everyday.
This is why I love like I do
& take the time to create.

This is why the little things
mean so much
& why it takes me so long
to pick something out.

I like  LOVE these words
{can you tell yet?!}

Knowing {Life is Art}
       what does it inspire you to do?

Auntie's Volleyball Game

I always wonder
what Baby Bella is going to do
under certain circumstances
in public places.

Sometimes my concern
is higher than other times
{like eating at a fancy restaurant}

With school back in full swing
my little sister {bug}
started highschool volleyball,
season two.

I love supporting her
& going to as many games as I can
so when my Momma called to see
if I wanted to meet her there...

I immediately said "Yes".
{before thinking about how I
would be able to handle Baby
Bella on bleachers, with a crowd of people
& loud noises.}

With a little bit of fear
I headed into the gym
armed with a little book,
        a granola bar
  & my secret weapon
{her bottle}

To my surprise Baby Bella
loved watching the Volleyball
get passed back and fourth between teams.
{Thank the Lord}

She also managed to sit quietly
on my lap... for a total of ten minutes.
then decided this spectating thing
wasn't for her.

I immediately grabbed her book
{she loves to read... & maybe chew}
hoping that would destract her
for at least a couple more minutes
so I could watch my sister serve.

After a short period of time
{I'm talking like five minutes}
she got bored of reading
& decided to go for the
sweet spot
        {mommy's purse}

She pulled out my
wallet. keys. advil bottle.
pens. chapstick. sunflower seeds.
& mardi gras necklace.

{I always keep a random assortment
of things to distract Baby Bella
...you never know when you'll need them!}

Then GG {grandma} showed up.

She brought some wagon wheels
for her sweet little grandbaby
&& kindly sat with Baby Bella
while she double fisted.

By this time Bug's team
had won slayed the first match
& were halfway into the second.

I stayed as long as I could
but Baby Bella only slept
for thirty minutes at daycare
& her diaper was starting to reach capacity.

Satisfied with her behavior
& confident that I could
bring her to another game
       we exited the gym-
happy. content.
      && tuckered out.

Daycare: Day ONE

For the past four months
Baby Bella has been privilaged enough
to stay home when Mommy goes to work
sleep in,
    watch Nick Jr whenever
  make messes with her own toys
        eat when she feels like it,
stay in her pajamas all day
             && never get picked on by other kids.

Then on August 29th, everything in
Baby Bella's world... changed.

She now has to get up early
get dressed, brush teeth
        eat breakfast,
&& drive off to daycare.

Always getting along with other kids
I had no problem when considering daycare
especially when I finally got into
the daycare of my dreams.

{Yes I know this sounds extreme
but after being on a waitlist for
six months... You'd be excited too}

We walked into daycare day one
&& Bella had no problem
picking up a little doll
and sharing with another little girl...

{even after that little brat pushed
my baby Bella flat on her back
            five seconds previously}

She looked around curiously
at all the {new} toys
{new} friends
& {new} daytime home

She never did seem to mind
even when I was getting ready to leave
&& a couple minutes later
her little {friend} got
         a small taste of karma.
{she tripped herself}

At the end of {day one}
I picked up my little bug-a-boo
& she was just as happy as I left her.

I even got an awesome printout
of what she ate,
            diaper status
                   && nap time.
WOW this rocks.

                                              {PS.... Paers is spelled "Pears"} -- LOL

Maybe daycare won't be so bad
afterall....
   With no stranger anxiety
napping for two and a half hours
&& playing outside with other children
         I think it's something she likes.
Maybe even loves.

I can't predict the future
or control what's going to happen
while I'm at work,
but I'm definitely confident
I made the right decision
&& so thankful I waited six long months
 for acceptance into the -perfect- daycare.

         Bring on day { two }
